Why I’m a Doula
After I, Renata Hale, went through a really hard labor experience and the only way I continued was because of my Doula’s support, I knew that’s what I wanted to do. I wanted to be able to help someone, the way she helped me. I believe that the need for caring, sensitive, and knowledgeable support during this time is becoming more and more apparent. I see every pregnancy and birth as a miracle. With my training through Birth Arts International, I feel completely honored to be able to support pregnant families within two hours of Clover, SC. Areas including, but not limited to: Gastonia, Lake Wylie, Spartanburg, York, Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Mount Holly, Charlotte, Lincolnton, and much more! Please contact me to see if I service your area!

How I Assist
Birth Doula
Get extra personal support throughout the entirety of your birthing journey. As a Doula, I promise to offer unwavering support to you and your family before, during, and after birth. Whether you choose a hospital, birthing center, or home birth, it doesn’t matter. If you have a natural, epidural, VBAC, or a c-section, I will support each and every choice you make. It is your birth, your way, always! I will stay in close contact in order to routinely check how you’re doing and offer anything needed. Included with my service: • Two prenatal appointments, generally around 29 and 36 weeks, that’s so we can talk over birth plan, postpartum plan, pain management, and birthing techniques. • One postpartum appointment. • 24/7 texting and/or calling. • I provide you with handouts and a list of local resources. • Labor and delivery support. Once you deliver I will stay about an hour after, or until you and baby are settled and comfortable. Prices for my services: $1,000~ Is my general rate.I have a 10-20% discount for police, military, single, low-income, and teen families. • If you are further than an hour away, I do charge a $25 travel fee. $150 ~ is my lower rate for parents expecting a stillborn child. Suggested Donation $200.00 - $400.00. However, donations of any size are very much appreciated. I am passionate about the fact that everyone deserves the support of a doula. Unfortunately, not everyone is able to have one. With the help from your generous donation, I am able to provide doula services to those that desire a doula, but may not be able to afford it. Your donation makes it to where I cover all my basic costs associated with my job such as childcare, gas, parking fees, etc. while offering my time and services free of charge. • Please contact me with any questions or for further information
